Our Press-EZ templates are laser cut to size and shape from 1/4″ MDF for a smooth surface and exceptional performance.
Each Press-EZ is actually 2 multi-function templates designed to work together.
- The outer template determines the shape of the plate and perfectly centers the inner template in the center of the rim.
- The outer rim allows you to perfectly center texture or underglaze transfers on your plate for matching sets.
- The inner template can act as a presser for making pressed plates or as a resist for applying texture or underglaze to the rim portion.
- They also match up with our new Press-EZ Design Pack stencils (coming very soon)!
Each design is hand drawn by Jessica Putnam-Phillips.
CARE + USE
MDF is a smooth, durable wood product and with care will give you long-lasting service.
Don’t leave clay to dry on your templates. Use them to cut the design and then remove them from the clay.
Let them dry after use, and then stack them to store.
